Open banking
Open banking is a standard that means you can:
-
see all your financial information in one place
-
get payments faster
-
make payments from your bank account without having to enter your information lots of times
As part of open banking standards, ScotPayments uses Application Programmable Interfaces (APIs) and common platforms. These mean that ScotPayments works well with other services.
ISO20022
ScotPayments uses ISO20022. ISO20022 is a standard for financial information. It means that the data used within ISO20022 is consistent. This allows different financial organisations to work together better.
Accessibility
ScotPayments follows accessibility guidelines. It’s designed to be used by as many people as possible. We want everyone to be able to use ScotPayments.
To see if ScotPayments is accessible, we tested it against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. It currently meets most of these guidelines. We’re working to make it meet all the guidelines, so it’s more accessible for more people.
