Tailored roles and permissions

In ScotPayments, unlike other payment services, you can add users to the platform with different access and controls.  

These groups are: 

• Uploader 
• Approver 
• Enquiry only 
• Confirmation of Payee 

Operational and financial staff can have access to the system. You can tailor access to the platform for operational staff to see live payment data without:

• access to full financial information
• the ability to make or approve payments

This means we can give tailored access to all users while keeping information secure. It also saves time by reducing duplication and removing the reliance on financial staff to share payment status updates manually with operational staff.
